About Home & Office
Home & Office is a family run company based in the centre of Weston-super-Mare. It says it has been trading since 1957 and has more than 60 years of experience. The business presents itself as a removals and storage firm serving both domestic and commercial customers, and says it can supply what is needed for a move, from packing materials to vehicle hire.
Self storage appears to be the main focus. Customers can choose from post office boxes, safe deposit boxes and storage units ranging from 15 to 250 square feet. The company says its units are individually lockable and alarmed, and are kept in a climate controlled building that protects belongings from dust and moisture. It also describes 24-hour CCTV, controlled access and lift access to all floors. Free sack trucks and trolleys are provided to help customers move their items.
The firm also offers a budget removals service, which it describes as a no-frills option for people who plan ahead. Rental vans are available, including long wheelbase models and Luton-style vans, for hire by the day, half day or weekend. A distinctive option is its home delivery storage, where a unit is brought to the customer to be loaded and then collected. Home & Office also runs a document storage service for businesses and private customers, which it says includes collection and delivery. An online shop sells boxes, bubble wrap, padlocks and blankets.
The company states that it was honoured to welcome HRH Princess Anne to recognise its services. It describes its operations as focused on efficiency, safety and sustainability, and it highlights its trained workforce and commitment to quality.
